Phuket IslandPhuket is Thailand's largest island, located in south-east part of Thailand, 48 km long and 21 km wide (in the middle part of the island). Phuket is connected to the mainland by two bridges, the Sarasin bridges, which are found on the north tip of the island. About 30 minutes car drive from the bridge is Phuket international airport and another 40 minutes to an hour drive you will get to the tourist areas.
